If a unit or gear with a here ability dies or is returned to hand, does its effect still resolve where it was when it activated, like Manufacture? Where does a here ability resolve if the source leaves play?

Do you still get a token if Faithful Manufactor is killed before it resolves?

Faithful Manufactor creates a token when it resolves. A player asked what happens if an opponent kills the unit before the card finishes resolving. If Faithful Manufactor would be destroyed before it resolves, do you still get its token?
