Who scores if Imperial Decree kills Draven's opponent during combat?

Player 1's Draven is fighting a Recruit while Player 2 casts Imperial Decree. Who gains points? Draven dies during combat and afterward no units remain on the battlefield.

Draven dies during combat, so Player 2 gains the point. After Imperial Decree resolves there are no units left on the battlefield, so the combat has no result.
