Does Teemo, Scout trigger twice when revealed and then defending?

I am on a battlefield and my opponent attacks. I reveal Teemo, Scout. Does his effect trigger both when revealed and when he defends? Follow up: can Star Crossed be played when Teemo is revealed, and does Teemo still deal damage if returned to hand before resolution? Does Teemo, Scout trigger twice when revealed and then defending?

No. After errata, Teemo triggers only when he defends. If revealed mid combat he gains defender status and triggers once. Both players can respond before resolution, including Star Crossed, but the top 5 cards are only revealed on resolution. If Teemo is returned to hand before resolution, the enemy unit target is invalid and no damage is dealt. Teemo's When I Defend happens before combat damage assignment, so the attacker can die before dealing combat damage.
