In 2v2, can you play units on your teammate's turn outside open state?

In 2v2, are you forbidden from playing units on your teammate's turn in all cases, or only during open state/main phase while still allowed on your own priority or focus windows in reactions/showdowns?

The restriction applies to open state/main-phase style play. Outside that, you may still make legal plays on your own priority or focus windows, subject to standard 2v2 restrictions.
