How do Baited Hook, Rift Herald Deathknell, and Harnessed Dragon order on the chain?

I use Baited Hook and kill a Rift Herald, triggering its Deathknell. I also play Harnessed Dragon from the hook effect. When Dragon enters, does his play effect go on the chain above the second Deathknell? Do cards in hand have targeting choices on finalization?

Rift Herald's Deathknell does not play the unit on finalization; when the trigger resolves you choose a unit in hand and put it on the chain as pending. During hook resolution, deathknells and the unit from hook become pending, then finalize bottom up. When Dragon enters, his play effect goes on the chain on top of the second Deathknell and resolves while that Deathknell is still on the chain. Cards in hand are not targets on finalization due to private information.
