Must all pending items finalize before Star Spring can target Stellacorn?

Stellacorn's move trigger is pending on the chain. Can Star Spring choose Stellacorn as a target before all pending items are finalized?

You must finalize all pending items before resolution begins, so Stellacorn cannot be chosen by Star Spring until then. Baited Hook is different: its ability kills mid-resolution, so Deathknells from it stay pending until the ability finishes resolving.
