Do Elder Dragon targets die if Tideturner swaps them before resolution?

I play Elder Dragon targeting a unit at a battlefield and one in base. A hidden Tideturner swaps one target with a unit at the other location.

Do my original targets still die, and can I choose which dies if one mistargets?

If a target changes location it is no longer a legal target and will not die.
