Can Arcane Shift replay my unit to the battlefield it left?

I use Arcane Shift on my only unit at a battlefield I control. Since the unit is banished before being played again, do I lose control of that battlefield first?

No. The unit is pending on the chain, so control of the battlefield is not lost during the cleanup. When finalizing the unit, that battlefield is still a valid location.
