Can you reveal hidden Evelynn and Edge of Night during an attack?

Two hidden card scenarios: 1) I play Evelynn hidden and pass. My opponent attacks with higher Might. Is Evelynn revealed and does her Might join the showdown even though her ability would not trigger? 2) I play Edge of Night hidden and pass. My opponent attacks. Can I reveal Edge of Night, and must I pay to equip it?

You are revealing (playing) Evelynn to the battlefield. For Edge of Night, revealing at reaction speed puts its play trigger on the chain to attach it to a unit you control here. Attaching is not equipping, so there is no extra payment. Being exhausted does not prevent revealing or using the ability.
